For our 3rd webinar, we discuss the clinically relevant, but previously understudied topic of the Tourettic OCD.
While many patients with TS have co-existing obsessive-compulsive traits, the underlying mechanisms which are common in the spectrum of these disorders, have been poorly investigated so far.
In this webinar, Dr Kinga Tomczak from the Harvard Medical School provides an overview of this conundrum and also points out in which way Tourettic OCD is different from OCD.
Dr Kinga Tomczak, MD, PhD, is a child neurologist and Programme Director of the Tic Disorders and Tourette Syndrome Programme at the Harvard Medical School, US. She has long standing clinical and research experience in tic disorders and is a member of the TS MDS Study Group.
