The 17th international conference on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders was held in Athens on 21-23 May 2025 at the Eugenides Foundation.
A fantastic, attendance-record-breaking event that brought together TS professionals from Australia to North America.
In the footsteps of our Varese 2024 host, Cristiano Termine, our visit to Greece allowed us to exceptionally organise a separate event (in Greek!), a hybrid seminar aimed at teachers and educators.
We welcomed more than 60 in-person attendees at the Eugenides Foundation and almost 300 virtual participants from all around Greece.
We owe a loud thank you to our Greek colleagues from Sismanoglio General Hospital and the EKPA for accepting our invitation and for offering their time and expertise in making this training initiative happen.
They have very generously made their presentations openly available on the Tourette Greece website.
You will also find them below along with the full recording of seminar and the educational video by Kathy Giordano provided by TTAG that was shown during the coffee break. (English subtitles)
Certificates of attendance
Printed copies were made available for in-person attendees at the end of the seminar.
Virtual participants who attended at least 2/3 of the seminar also received via email a certificate of virtual attendance.
We hope that this initiative will contribute to raising awareness and addressing deeply-routed misconceptions on Tourette syndrome, and that the official authorities and designated bodies will take the lead in supporting healthcare professionals and the efforts of Tourette Greece.
Thank you everyone for attending, we wish you all the best with your endeavours!
The Frontiers editorial office will be able to provide more information/answer any questions.
Discover the spectacular destination where we shall meet again next summer!
